Viana do Castelo, in northern Portugal, is one of the sources of inspiration for this story due to the strength of its people and traditions. Founded in the Middle Ages, its port was crucial to the formation of Portugal. The legend of its name echoes the ancestral love of a young man who, whenever he saw Princess Anne in the castle window, would passionately cry out, " I saw Anne from the castle! " Between the sea and the art of filigree, the famous Hearts of Viana were born, an emblematic piece of Portuguese culture and this history. The Desfile da Mordomia (Mordomia Parade) still celebrates the pride and devotion of Minho women today.

THOMAS
He's a talented craftsman who creates original Portuguese guitars. Humble, generous, and calm, he's loved by all because he has a "heart of gold."
ANA
Ana is the princess of the Kingdom and daughter of Dom Florentin. Courageous and irreverent, she greatly values her freedom and close relationship with the people. Against all odds, she falls in love with Thomas, a craftsman.
DUQUE OF ARAGON
A cold and calculating aristocrat, he is a ruthless conqueror who only thinks about increasing his power. He wants to marry Ana for power and use his army to subjugate Viana.
DON FLORENTIN
Governor of the city and Anne's father. Despite his stern demeanor, he cares about the succession of the Kingdom and dreams of seeing his daughter marry a nobleman. Still tormented by his wife's death, he is vehemently opposed to Anne and Thomas's love.
